I have managed and led numerous projects, ranging from scientific experiments, to outreach initiatives, to working groups. In 2018, I received the University of Minnesota President’s Leadership and Service Award, in recognition of my activities.
In the past 5 years, my interests and values have shifted to a focus on equity related projects, which is also reflected in my urban ecology research. In addition, as part of my training and learning process, from 2018-2020, I completed 10 workshops through the Office of Equity and Diversity at the University of Minnesota.
